The Black Rabbit, Arundel

Not quite the gloriously sunny weather we enjoyed for our wedding weekend exactly one year ago to the day (8th April) three of us, the bride, groom and joined by best man Phil, set out in the rain. It continued to rain the whole way but we Wombles are hardy creatures, a bit of rain isn’t going to stop us. We figured, at least it wasn’t freezing cold with an icy wind… as per our other walks.

We hiked along riverbank, across fields and through wooded glens, very picturesque. Signs of spring were seen along the way (see primrose pic). Not disclosed so far, Kate aka Bungo (excitable and bossy), is very fond of moss (mossy tree pic). Also see pic of perfect country retreat (one chosen along the way each walk).

We enjoyed a beer and pub lunch in the Black Rabbit afterwards and all agreed we totally deserved it.
