The Woodman, Hammerpot

Delighted to be joined by 10 (now honorary) Wombles, Great Uncle Bulgaria (Mike) and Bungo (Kate) led the group on a colourful bluebell walk, on what turned out to be a wonderfully sunny, warm day.

Pretty and picturesque woodland to appreciate all the way for our May wombling, which seemed even better in the company of a lovely bunch of friends and family, sharing the wonders of nature and catching up with the news and gossip! Great fun and very uplifting.

A tasty Sunday lunch in the Woodman Arms to celebrate the day’s endeavours and Womble Sam’s (Mike’s son) 20th birthday. Yay, chocolate cake for dessert!
